| Reposted from Myspace: Hello Hello... Thank you everyone who has been leaving comments for my new pictures. I received a request to do a little blogging in relation to them so here we go. I have been on the road since March 20 for work. My first stop was Chicago, where I had an event for work. It was great getting to see some of the sales people that I havent seen in quite a while, as well as meet a new one. I had lots of fun. My first stop was H&M, which meant lots of great accessories. Then I got to check out Frontera grill with Jane, and had the hottest salsa ever. Seriously I tried eating guacomole, drinking water, and my mouth was on fire. I almost came to the point of tears, and decided that no food was worth that. I also had the opportunity to get some yummy Indian food, and explore downtown Chicago with a friend. We made a stop by the Tribune Tower which is quite majestic. After Chicago I flew to Arkansas, to see my grandparents, eat good food & get my hair done My grandma was bound & determined to stuff me, Jess kept saying it was because she wanted to eat me. I was a little concerned... I savored the flavor of the south which included but was not limited to: fried pickles, okra, hush puppies, fried oysters, sweet tea, cheese dip (white, yellow, with cilantro, without cilantro), chicken n'dumplings, more okra, cornbread, cherry limeades, bbq, margueritas (not with grandma though . And the list could go on, but I think you have the idea. Great times. Oh I cant forget that I acquired my new favorites lipstick (Hollywood glam is definitely making a return). Oh and another major highlight, was the fact that my grandmother gave me the bracelet she had sent to my grandfather during the Korean War. On Wednesday I flew to Memphis, where I am working another show. While in my taxi to my hotel, the cab driver made sure to point out Sun Studios which at one time had Elvis, Johnny Cash, and some other great guys all on their label. I am staying at the Peabody Hotel, which is quite classy. Its all about the ducks here, they take their stroll on the red carpet at 11am into the fountain, and then at 5pm they retire to their rooftop lofts. My soap is even shaped like a duck. A coworker and myself ventured into the alley across the street last night, which conceals one of the very best bbq places ever- called Rendevous. We could not decide if the bbq, the cole slaw or the baked beans were the best. If you ever take a trip to Memphis, I definitely recommend that place!! My stars! I do declare this is the longest myspace blog I think I have ever written. So I am going to stop for now. If you have any thoughts or questions let me know. |
